I am deliberately not giving you seventeen modules, eighty-seven PDFs and another enormous curriculum you feel guilty for not finishing. I want you to have time to notice what happens when you actually live this stuff. You will have some small amount of ‘homework’ or ‘homeplay’ each week, usually 10 mins to an hour max, and some pre-recorded content to digest, but it’s all able to be done around small kids, busy lives, and crazy schedules.

About me

I'm Tahnee.

I've spent about 20 years studying bodies, healing, and spiritual practice - beginning with Yoga when I was 15.

My background meanders through studies in Vinyasa, Hatha, Tantra, and Yin Yoga, Taoist energetics, meditation, bodywork, herbalism, somatics, the female nervous system, birth and women's rites of passage, anatomy, alongside 14 years of teaching and my own experience of s3x, relationships, motherhood (I have 3 kids, all born at home), business (I’ve started two and run a handful of them) and being a person who is alive, thus continuing to get things both very right and very wrong sometimes. ;)

I've learned an enormous amount from traditions and teachers. I'm also increasingly interested in where the maps we've inherited don't quite fit women's lived experience. Especially spiritual maps. To me, sexuality is inherently spiritual. Connected to our life-force and our generative power. I wish more women could enjoy their Eros!!

Many of the traditions I’ve studied were created by men, through male bodies, in cultural contexts where menstruation, birth, motherhood, female sexuality, and the domestic realities of women's lives weren't exactly central to the curriculum.

I don't think that means we throw them away. I do think we're allowed to keep asking questions.

Such as: What if the body isn't something we need to transcend? What if pleasure isn't less spiritual than discipline? What if sex isn't separate from spiritual practice? What if our bodies contain forms of intelligence our culture has trained us to distrust? And what might women discover if we stop asking someone else to tell us what our own experience means quite so quickly?

I don't have all the answers. But I sure do ask a lot of questions. If this kind of inquiry interests you, then maybe we’ll get along. :)

What Past Students Have Said
About Elemental Vehicle

“I feel integrated, I feel supported, I feel more at ease…This is my favourite course I have ever done. The breadth of topics covered and the value is unmatched. It was the course of all courses for me because it integrated all of my major interests. I’ve been recommending her work to people prior to doing this course and now it is my most sincere wish that all the women in my life get to experience Tahnee’s teachings first hand as I did. I feel so lucky. Thank you so much Tahnee the generosity and capacity you bring to teaching is valuable beyond.”
— Chili, past EV student

“This course was a deep dive into understanding the magic of being connected to the energetic experience of being a woman. It has completely opened up how I engage with my life on so many levels and will continue to evolve and unfold with me over the seasons to come. Tahnee is an incredible teacher, with a wealth of wisdom she shares so generously!”
— Georgia, past EV student

“Over the months we have spent on this course. I have felt much more grounded in my femaleness. I felt a lot less cerebral and more embodied. It’s been a great transition to understand and trust the logic of the body above the logic of the mind. Having said that there’s been plenty of intellectual stimulation in the course content. I thoroughly enjoyed the integration of theory and practice.”
— Jenn, past EV student

why this course?

women are taught a lot about being desirable…And remarkably little about their own desire.

This is one of the things I can't stop thinking about. We learn incredibly young to see ourselves from the outside. Is my body attractive? Do they like me? What does this attention mean? Am I sexy? Am I too sexual? Not sexual enough? Too loud? Too needy? Too intimidating? Am I doing this right?

We carry that observer, that doubt and questioning, into the places where we're supposed to be having the most direct experiences of our lives.

Including sex.

You can be naked with someone and still be watching yourself. You can be touched while thinking about your stomach. You can be having an orgasm while wondering whether it's taking too long. You can be incredibly desirable and have almost no relationship with your own desire. And I don't think that's just a sex problem.

Desire is everywhere. It's the pull toward a person. But also toward an idea, a place. A piece of work, a baby, not-a-baby. A different life. More money. More space. More beauty, more solitude, more pleasure, less responsibility, more responsibility.

Something you cannot quite justify wanting but nevertheless do. Desire is information. Not instruction; you don't have to obey every desire you have. But how free can we really be if we can't even feel ourselves wanting?

Women used to gather with one another to bathe, to dress, to work, to mother. We shared our stories, traded tips, cackled, cried, cuddled. We can’t cuddle over Zoom but we sure as hell can do everything else. I don’t have all the answers but I’ve been on both sides, completely detached from my sexuality to living from a place where s3x is easeful, incredible, expansive, life-altering, funny, sweet, wild, tender, and life-affirming. That’s what I want for all of you.

This is what I mean by Eros.

Yes, we're going to talk about sex. But I don't want to teach a course about becoming a more sexual woman.

Frankly, I think women have enough things we're supposed to be better at.

I don't want Eros to become another one. Eros, as I'm interested in it, is something more fundamental. It is our movement toward life. Life force. Every other culture except ours has a word for it. So it’s there. We’ve just lost touch with it.

Our life force is our capacity to be touched by something. To want. To receive. To experience pleasure. To create. To be affected. To let something matter enough that it changes us. And this is where embodiment and Eros become inseparable for me.

Because you cannot experience more life without being able to feel more.

And feeling more isn't always pleasant.

Sometimes the woman who becomes more embodied discovers she wants more sex. Sometimes she realises she doesn't actually want the sex she's having. Sometimes she feels enormous pleasure (I remember being pregnant with my daughter, my first child, and feeling so much sexual energy surging through me that I had NO IDEA what to do with!). Sometimes she discovers how angry she is. Sometimes she finally understands that what she's been calling anxiety is excitement. Or what she's been calling intuition is fear. Or what she's been calling "being easygoing" is actually a lifetime of leaving herself to keep everyone else comfortable.

This isn't about feeling good (though we will explore that).

It's about becoming capable of feeling what's true. And then having more choice about what you do with it.

Imagine having more access to yourself.

Not becoming fearless; I love fear. We don’t reject fear in this space. But imagine knowing what fear feels like in you and not automatically letting it decide what happens next.

Not never people-pleasing again, but noticing the moment you begin to leave yourself to make someone else comfortable and seeing if it’s the right time to be agreeable or if something else is being called forth.

Not being permanently turned on, but knowing your erotic life belongs to you, regardless of whether you're partnered, having sex, breastfeeding, celibate, menopausal, exhausted, wildly horny, or couldn't care less about sex right now.

Knowing your yes. Knowing your no. Knowing your I don't know yet.

Being able to experience pleasure without immediately observing yourself experiencing it. Being able to hold more charge.

More visibility, more intimacy, more creativity, more success, more uncertainty.More of the enormous mess of being alive.AND knowing how to put it all down and chill sometimes.

Freedom is NOT getting life arranged so beautifully that nothing overwhelms us. Freedom has something to do with becoming a woman who can meet more of her own without continually abandoning herself.

That is the woman I'm interested in becoming, and I’d love to share the journey with you.

ELEMENTAL VEHICLE

embodiment + eros

There is a version of this work that promises you'll emerge in four weeks completely embodied, sexually liberated, deeply regulated and glowing with feminine life force.

This is not that course 😂.

You're still going to be you. You'll still get triggered, you'll still occasionally say yes when you meant no and realise it three hours later, and you'll still have days when you feel wildly alive and days when everyone should probably leave you alone. But I am certain you’ll have a different relationship with yourself by the end of this. Women tell me they’ve never done work like this before. That it’s life-changing. You'll notice yourself sooner. You'll get better at recognising the difference between thinking about what you want and actually feeling yourself want it. You’ll get better at claiming it.

You might find pleasure available in places you weren't looking for it, or discover you have a little more room for anger, desire, uncertainty, charge, intimacy and creativity without needing to immediately explain, suppress or act on any of it. And perhaps you'll become a little harder to convince that someone else knows what's happening inside you better than you do. So that when life asks, are you here? a little more of you is able to say yes.

FAQs

DO I NEED SEXUAL EXPERIENCE?

1

This course is recommended for women with some sexual experience. Ideally I am calling in women in their mid-20s to 50s or 60s, to explore the energetic, anatomical and spiritual dimensions of s3x. You will be supported and encouraged to explore your own sexuality and your own relationship with sexual energy.

Partners are optional.

is this course for all ages?

2

This course is best for women over the age of 25, roughly, and most likely will suit women in the earlier years of menopause.

If you are younger, and interested, please contact Tahnee before purchasing to discuss if this course will be right for you.

do i need to be spiritual?

3

Only in the sense of being open to your own inner wisdom. This course is about you cultivating your own relationship with life, which to me is inherently spiritual, but your individual experience of what spiritual means might look different to mine. I think that’s OK. :)

will this help with libido, exhaustion, or burnout?

4

Yes, because you’ll stop overriding your body and start working with your true energy. You’ll learn what is draining you, and how to reconnect with your life force. This is NOT performative or about oozing maiden sexual energy, it’s about standing strong in our embodied eros, cultivating a mature feminine sexuality.

do i need to attend the calls live?

5

No, however there is always extra value in being live as, just like attending an in-person class, there is an energetic transmission that occurs live that is potent and amplifies the work.

All classes are recorded with lifetime access.
